Empez\u00f3 su carrera a los 6 a\u00f1os de edad en la novela Cristina Baz\u00e1n.  En marzo del 2005 hubo una conferencia de prensa para anunciar su diagnostico de c\u00e1ncer de seno.  Desde entonces se ha caracterizado por apoyar dicha causa y participar en la carrera Race for The Cure de la fundaci\u00f3n Susan G.
