Su nombre cient\u00edfico es Delonix regia.  Se encuentra entre los arboles mas coloridos del mundo  con sus flores rojo anaranjadas.  Ir\u00f3nicamente en su pa\u00eds nativo el \u00e1rbol esta en peligro de extinci\u00f3n.  Es oriundo de la selva seca caducifolia de Madagascar.
